An Electronic Cigarette delivers the nearly the same experience as a traditional Tobacco Cigarette without the carcinogens found in tobacco smoke. (Note: Ecigs may contain some trace carcinogens, this is mainly due to Nicotine being extracted from tobacco leaves).

A good ecig unit will deliver almost the same amount of vapors ("smoke") as a traditional tobacco cigarette would. The "smoke" is actually a water like vapor. The main portion is usually made of food grade Propylene Glycol an organic compound which is commonly found in a variety of food products such as a Snow Cone. The vapors contain nicotine and various flavors that can mimic any cigarette experience making it very easy for a diehard smoker to make the switch.

Some E-Juice (E-Smoke) manufacturers will also use Vegetable Glycerin. Note: some foreign e-liquids have been found to contain carcinogens.

E-Cig vapors (smoke) are like the real thing but do not expect the "exact" same experience as a tobacco cigarette. Ecigs should not be viewed as a smoking cessation device or NRT but rather a modified risk tobacco product for recreational use.
